Our History

It started in Jackson.

100 Women Who Care: West Tennessee was relaunched in 2023 as an initiative of the Community Foundation. We hosted our first awards luncheon on March 8, 2024, awarding $15,000 in grants.

How It Works

Make an Impact Locally

Nonprofits submit grant applications to be reviewed by a volunteer selection committee, who selects up to six organizations to present (maximum three large, three small). Each March, members meet to network with one another and hear from the finalists. After the presentations, members and sponsors will vote to determine which nonprofit in each category receives the grant award.

Your level of giving determines the number of votes you have. To join 100 Women Who Care, make a commitment to a level of annual giving.
