The Community Foundation of West Tennessee is pleased to announce the appointment of Taylor Risley as its new Chief Financial Officer.
In this role, Risley will oversee the financial strategy and operations of the organization, working closely with the team to support the mission and goals of the Community Foundation. He brings nearly a decade of experience in financial analysis, strategic leadership, and organizational stewardship.
“Risley brings both deep financial expertise and a passion for our community,” said Melissa Spurgeon, CEO of the Community Foundation. “His leadership experience, combined with his involvement with local nonprofit agencies, makes him an excellent fit for our team as we continue to grow and serve West Tennessee.”
Risley joins the Community Foundation from Leaders Credit Union with a wealth of experience in finance, budgeting, and data analysis. He holds a Master of Business Administration with an accounting concentration from Freed-Hardeman University and has built a career focused on financial performance and supporting long-term growth strategy.
In addition to his professional background, Risley is committed to community service. He served for eight years as Treasurer for the Board of Directors at the Boys and Girls Club of Jackson and as Assistant Treasurer for Leaders Education Foundation.
