The Community Foundation of West Tennessee, in partnership with the Central West Tennessee Association of Realtors (CWTAR), is now accepting applications for the 2026 CWTAR Scholarship, which supports graduating high school seniors across nine West Tennessee counties.
Through the program, CWTAR plans to award a $1,000 scholarship to one graduating senior in each county within its service area: Chester, Crockett, Decatur, Dyer, Gibson, Haywood, Henderson, Lauderdale, and Madison.
“Realtors are the heartbeat of our neighborhoods. We live here, we serve here, and our children go to school here. Giving back is personal for our agents,” said Brent Ward, CEO/Association Executive for CWTAR. “We don’t just sell homes – we build communities.”

High school seniors graduating in 2026 with a GPA of 2.5 or higher are encouraged to apply. Applications are open now and must be submitted by April 17, 2026.

The Community Foundation of West Tennessee manages the CWTAR Scholarship Fund in addition toits other 35 scholarship funds that help students pursue higher education, trade school, and other career pathways.
