CWTAR Partners with the Community Foundation to Award $9,000 in Scholarships
In partnership with the Community Foundation of West Tennessee, the Central West Tennessee Association of Realtors (CWTAR) awarded $9,000 in scholarships to students across its service area.
“Realtors play an active role in shaping the future of our communities. Investing in local students through these scholarships is a meaningful way we can support the next generation.”
During a scholarship reception at the CWTAR office, nine students were recognized. Each student received a $1,000 scholarship towards their post-secondary education.
The students receiving a $1,000 scholarship are:
Taleshia Driver from Chester County High School will be attending Austin Peay State University.
Callan Willis from Crockett County High School will be attending the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Kjavik Fowler from Riverside High School in Decatur County will be attending Belmont University.
Donny Davidson from Dyer County High School will be attending TCAT Northwest.
Brody Hobson from South Gibson County High School will be attending Union University
Matthew Hall from Lexington High School in Henderson County will beattending Middle Tennessee State University.
Julia Manley from Ripley High School in Lauderdale County will be attending Dyersburg State Community College.
Gracie Bratcher from Jackson Christian School in Madison County will be attending Sewanee: University of the South.
Oscar Zheng from Liberty Technology High School in Madison County will be attending Tennessee Technological University.

The CWTAR Scholarship Fund is a fund of the Community Foundation of West Tennessee. The fund’s mission is to give back to the community where their agents live, worship, and work by helping high school seniors cross the financial finish line to college, trade school, and beyond.
