We look forward to celebrating each of them at the Charity Gala this fall.
— Melissa Spurgeon, CEO of the Community Foundation

The Charity Gala is the Community Foundation’s signature annual event that celebrates generosity, leadership, and community impact. This year marks the return to a two-night Charity Gala weekend.

The weekend will begin with the Patrons’ Party on Friday, November 13, at Oakmont Estate. Sponsors and award recipients will gather for an elegant cocktail reception. The celebration continues Saturday, November 14, with the Charity Gala. The main event features an elevated dining experience, a complimentary bar, live entertainment, and more.

But the Charity Gala is more than a celebration. It’s an investment in West Tennessee.

Proceeds from this event help make the Community Foundation’s Community Impact Grants possible, providing critical funding to nonprofits serving our neighbors across the region.

In June 2026, the Community Foundation awarded $100,000 to 12 organizations addressing needs including food insecurity, workforce development, homelessness, services for individuals with disabilities, youth substance abuse prevention, and support for veterans and caregivers. Since the program began in 2016, more than $556,000 has been awarded to organizations working to strengthen West Tennessee.

Be a part of the impact and make a reservation now. Reserved tables seat eight guests and are $2,500. Sponsorship opportunities are still available and include tickets to the Patrons’ Party.
